Layla Survived
Well... Layla Survived. I picked her up this morning and she has been mooping around ever since. I finally got her to eat a little something. She couldn't resist the chicken I added to her bowl. I keep medicating her every 6 hours, I don't want her to be in any pain. Zach is stopping by tomorrow to check on her and give her her afternoon dose of pain medication. I am sure she is just happy to be home. I know I am Happy, We sure did miss her last night. My boss gave me a $100 gift card to Claim Jumper so Phil and I are going on a Date Tonight. While Layla gets some rest. I hope everyone had a wonderful Day!

I'm glad she did ok. Give her a couple of days, and she'll right back to normal. Hope you and Phil enjoyed your date night.
She will be fine. I can't wait to have her on Saturday!!!

Isn't it crazy how we get attached to our animals? We have a rescue dog that we got as a puppy and last year we found out he had heart worms. We had to have a lot of trips to the vet and part of his cure was keeping him calm (low heart rate) because he if his heart rate got too high, it would have killed him. He is well now, but we still have to keep a close eye on the heart worms with his vet.

hmm, lets see, medicate the dog into a dream state, and go party----hey, just kidding. Poor Layla, all she knows is she sure doesn't wanna ever go back to THAT place. She will recover, what with all the love and attention she gets. Glad to hear there were no complications-----and hope to you enjoyed the "Claim Jumper" evening
