Layla gets spayed today

This morning I had to drop my little girl off at the avocado animal hospital in Fallbrook so that she could get spayed. If you don't know already know this, the surgery consists of the Doctor removing her Fallopian Tubes, Ovaries and Uterus. She will have to stay over night just so the doctors can observe her and make sure she is OK after the surgery. We are also going to have her microchipped and have her nails trimmed while she is under. I have to admit I cried after I left her there. The people were great, it's just she looked so sad when I left, I just felt so bad. But I know she is in good hands. I get to pick her up tomorrow morning at 9:00. I don't work tomorrow so I will be able to fuss over her all day. Well I am off to juice it up and then work. I hope everyone has a great day and just send a little prayer Layla's way. Thanks

Good Luck to her today! Sweet Girl!
She will do fine. Good idea to have her chipped, never can be too careful

Aww poor thing, but she'll come through just fine. Give you an excuse to cuddle with her.

You are a good Mommy Alexi. She is lucky to have you and Phil. You will se just how much a part of your lives she is tonight when it is quiet at your house. No rugs by the door.

Hey Lexi! What a sweet looking dog...my husband's great-uncle used to sell Boston Terriers before he died a little over 4 years ago. I hope she isn't as hyper as the ones he sold!

I have to tell you that your Mama (so we call our Mom's on the East Coast...lol) is one of the sweetest people I have NEVER met...lol. She has been so good to me and my family. She has sent some of the nicest things for Mason and we absolutely love his rag quilt she made for him. You were definitely blessed with a gem! Cherish every minute you have with her. I lost my Mama over 3 years ago and miss her more and more everyday.

Your Aunt Wendy came by to meet me when I was in the hospital having Mason and I just loved getting to talk to her in person. She was just so nice and fun! I hope to meet your Mama and see Wendy for lunch in March when they are all going to the SDV. I know we will all have so much fun!
